Gene P. LaFollette has over 40 years of legal experience. He received his B.A. in history at Kansas University in 1965. He then attended Hastings College of Law in San Francisco and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1969. After law school, he served 3 years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. From 1971-1981 he worked at the Alameda County Public Defender's Office. From 1981 - 1999 he started a law practice with his fellow colleague in Oakland, CA. In 1999 he decided started his own business in Alameda, CA where he continues to practice law and help others in need of legal advice and representation.
